Yeah, you guys probably aren't Canadian.
And even if you are, you probably don't watch the Next Star on YTV. Haha.

But a girl from my province, B.C., won!
Amazingly, she beat out the teenage guy who all the girls love.
And she is really talented.
I'd been rooting for her from the beginning and now she's going to be all famous and stuff, which is awesome.

But the movie followed the book well.
And I liked Gomez a lot more in the movie, since there wasn't the whole Clare-Gomez thing.
Rachel and Eric were fantastic.
And even though I knew what was going to happen, I still cried.

And are they seriously thinking about making a TV show for it?
Because that would sort-of ruin the story for me.
 

Well, Jeff got evicted.
Which is too bad but his fault for evicting Russ and trusting Nat and Kevin.
At least he has $3000 from Pandora's Box and a Hawaiian vacation. Plus he'll most likely get the $25,000 jury prize too.
Speaking of Pandora's Box, I thought it was really amusing that Kevin got his hand trapped in the box while the other houseguests collected the money falling from the sky.
Especially since he asked Natalie to find the key, but of course, she just goes back outside to get more money. Then he asks Jeff, who finds it and just goes back outside for more money.

Anyways, somehow Natalie actually won a competition. And she's the new HOH.
I hope Michele wins the POV and doesn't go home.

And they messed up with the opening sequence.
Russell is still there.
Normally, they show evicted houseguests walking out the door.
I wonder if it was an accident or if it's supposed to mean something.
 

I loved it, it was amazing.
The acting by the cast was incredible.

Chima had been breaking rules from Day One, taking off her microphone and refusing to go to the diary room.
Well, Chima threw her microphone into the pool and I guess the producers finally had enough.
Chima quit/got kicked out of the game. Good riddance, I was tired of her attitude.
And later on, Lydia started yelling and freaking out.

Anyways, Michele's HOH was cut short and Jordan became the new HOH.
She put up Natalie and Lydia, no surprise there.

Anyways, one of them will go to the jury house, and hopefully, the week after, the other will.
I will be fine with Jeff, Jordan, Michele, Russell, or Kevin winning.
 

I'm liking this new alliance. I think they'll go far in the game, Jeff and Russell are two of the strongest players in the game.
And I know for sure that Russell want Ronnie gone. He put up Lydia and Ronnie and most likely, Ronnie will be gone.
And if Jeff gets the Coup D'Etat, he can make sure Jessie goes the week after too.
I'm liking Russell a lot more. I definitely have more respect for him, as he stuck to his word and offered the alliance when he already had power. Seems genuine to me.

I was a bit annoyed that Lydia and Kevin got a flat-screen TV and $5000 for falling first in the competition.
Which was probably what got them thinking that those two should go home, since they're just floating.
I do like Kevin, but I have to agree. Lydia's creepy and kisses up to people as always. Aha.
Not that I wanted Natalie or Ronnie to get it.
The competition looked tough though. I have to give props to Chima though, she hung on for a long time, even though she was getting hit by the giant diploma the most. She did a 360 flip in the air practically and still hung on. Of course, I didn't like that she was only doing it for Jessie and Natalie.
And Michele did a good job too, she's a better competitor than I thought. Except she's a disaster in competitions. By that, I mean, something really geeky always happens to her, like falling headfirst into the mud, or getting stuck on her rope and having to be cut off. Aha, it's fun to laugh at though.
And I am pleased that Jessie has to eat slop, squid, and squash. Excellent. Sucks for Kevin too. Aha.
